Pets

Right now I don’t have any pets, but our family has had a few over the years. Did you grow up with dogs? We had one dog, an energetic chocolate lab who liked to run off, and as my mother was pregnant at the time, that didn’t fly and we had to get rid of him. I didn’t have pets for a long time after that. Decided to adopt a bunny in college, and he was the sweetest. After that, it was years before we’d finally have a cat, and then another cat, and then some more bunnies, and then a dog.

Some day I’ll have to tell you about “Flower the cow” our dear cat that we had when we lived in the woods.

But for now, here are a few pictures of pets. 🙂 Shep had to get put down last year, he was old and living with his dad. I loved him even though he was too smart for his (and our) own good:

Here’s a pic of Dasher, my mom’s dog (well technically my nephew’s but… he’s my mom’s lol):

Here’s our old cat Midnight who also had to be put down last year, she was a sweet cat but liked to give “love bites” when she was sick of you petting her. Here she is in her Halloween outfit and she looks like she’s ready to do someone in:

Now my kids have adorable Machka (I’m probably spelling that wrong, it’s Serbian for “cat”):

Machka does not have a mean bone in her body. She is the sweetest cat ever and no, I’m not biased. 🙂

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great Saturday! And if you like what I write, please subscribe. Thanks 🙂
