Every once in a while, I’ll go solo camping.

I’m talking tents. Campfires. Dealing with huge scary spiders by myself.

I love spending time in the woods. I was a girl scout my entire childhood, and went on more adventures than I can count. And maybe it’s because of that, but I still love being outside in nature.

So every once in a while, I’ll spend a night or two in the woods by myself. And it teaches me things like- Yes. I’m okay on my own. Yes. I can still light a fire. Yes. I can handle rain and creepy noises.

And looking up into the night sky, I feel a lot of peace.
