“What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.”

“Are you married?”

“No. No I’m not. Thanks for asking, though! And for reminding me of my divorce!!”

Actually my usual response is- “No. Thank God.” LOL

I just don’t know if I’ll ever understand why people ask this so often. I feel like I just let it come out like, organically in conversation with others. As we get to know each other, someone will talk about their boyfriend, or fiance, or husband, etc. I guess I’m not that curious about everyone’s marital status? I’m thinking about work in particular.

It’s probably more about making conversation than anything. People like to chit chat. Some of them are nosier than others. And just like to know if you’re married.

Do people ask you this a lot? Is it just my neck of the woods? Asking for a friend. 😛
