I love when I get up in the morning, and not only did I prep my coffee but I also made my breakfast.

There are so many combos. Some may argue that a parfait is easy to throw together in the morning but:
Doing it the night before means you can use frozen fruit.
It eliminates the time pressure in the morning. I don’t know about you, but there are way too many days when I’m rushing to get out the door. Making breakfast is nearly impossible. Grabbing something already made out of the fridge makes it easy!
Kids can get involved and help to make their own, choosing some of the ingredients.
The flavors have time to come together, and you can throw in oats that will have time to absorb liquid.
So how to do it?
I start with my yogurt. Think of this as the base. Plain greek yogurt is my go-to.

Oats or granola next. You can use nuts and seeds here too, but I like to save those for my last layer. If I’m using plain oats, I’ll put some honey on them. I like the texture of the oats when I stir everything together right before eating. If you want the oats to soften, mix the yogurt and oats. Do this before adding the next layer.

Add your fruit. Fresh, frozen, sometimes I’ll use jam (if I do this I won’t use other sweetener).
A bit more yogurt on top.
A little more fruit and that’s it!

Put your lid on top, and you are ready to go in the morning.
Try experimenting with your combos. Toppings you can try:
Candied walnuts
Coconut
Chocolate chips (or peanut butter, or another favorite)
Sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, or whatever nuts you have.
Peanut butter
Prepping breakfast the night before is an easy way to make your morning routine a little smoother. Prep one tonight for breakfast tomorrow! I’d love to hear about your favorite combos!
