It’s so subjective. But what I’ve found is that the exercise for me that’s the most fun is the exercise that I do without noticing it. It’s the long hikes in the woods, the 5ks where I’m jogging with lots of other people. It’s the times when I’ve played soccer with my kids.
When I was younger, going to the gym was fun especially when I was going with my college friends. Indoor climbing was a ton of fun, and never felt like a workout but wow, yeah that was definitely a workout!
Lately the gym isn’t doing it for me. It’s so crowded and smells like a high school locker room. Maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to smell lol. Luckily it’s nice enough outside that I’m getting out for walks and jogs but I know I need to get some weights in there too! It’s time for something new, I can tell, but I’m not sure what that looks like yet.
In the meantime I’ll do some planks and push-ups (my version of them) and get some arm exercises in.
