Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

This is a good question to think about right now, this President’s Day…

I think of myself as patriotic. Being patriotic means that I love my country and what it stands for. It means that I might not always agree with those in charge, but I always believe in my country. It means learning about history- not always my strong suit way back in high school- but the older I get, the more interesting it becomes. And I see how we’re a part of history, too. 🙂
