I am grateful to be able to say that I have a lot of favorite people these days…
My kids. My boyfriend. Family and friends.
But my patients are right up there at the top of the list, too. My coworkers.
And if someone would have told me 13 years ago, when my ex-husband left and our family was falling apart, if someone would have told me that one day I’d be sitting here and able to say that, would I have believed them?
Things work out in ways we could never have imagined. I know that now. There are still plenty of problems in my life, after all, this is life! But to be able to look back and appreciate how far I’ve come, and how God has worked in my life, nudging me here or there, I consider it one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten.
