The most expensive item I’ve ever purchased has been my nursing license. I’m considering not just the financial aspect, but also the emotional and physical aspects as well.

Nursing is tough. I went into it mid-life, during a pandemic that no one saw coming.

I love my job and my patients though. They make it worth it. I consider it a privilege to be able to be there with them as they are going through one of the most vulnerable times of their lives.

And for that reason, I consider it the best investment I’ve ever made. 🙂
